Blast Off by Winnipeg based artist Serena Wilson Stubson is a reproduction of the original image. Blast Off is printed directly on canvas paper to retain image brilliance and the texture of the original painting. Blast Off is then laminated to protect the image from scratches and damaging UV light. The canvas is then stretched onto a wooden frame 1 3/4" in depth and the edges are finished and signed by the artist using a textured gesso to give an original feel to the piece. The edges come finished in textured charcoal. Other colors for edging available upon request.

About Artist:
Serena Wilson Stubson is a mixed media artist living in Winnipeg Manitoba, with her husband, baby boy, two dogs and a cat.
She is constantly inspired by the world around her, anything organic, life at twilight, fruits, flowers, weeds and living 'green' - yes, being green is very inspirational! A common element in her work are the rich textures created through her own style of painted collage. She is not afraid of color and cannot seem to get enough of it in her paintings. She also incorporates a wide variety of printed, handmade, vintage and imported papers into her pieces. Aside from painted collage, she also has a passion for photography and can always be found with a camera of some sort on hand.
