Word Construction

A nuts-and-bolts approach to making, and spelling, words! Start with consonant, vowel, consonant to make a word. Then, turn any piece to make a new word. Kids can progress to making longer words, with each bolt holding up to 4 nuts. 

Includes 6 bolts, 30 printed nuts (enough for multiple kids), and Activity Guide. 

Bolts measure 5"L, nuts 2½"L. 

Six (6) each of the following consonant nuts:
Blue – b, d, g, p, t, n
Purple – s, l, k, h, t, c
Orange – r, s, f, l, m, n
Twelve (12) green nuts showing vowels (a, e, i, o, u, y)

Please note that some consonants are not represented in this product: j, q, v, w, x, z. Instead, to maximize the number of words that can be made, we have included extras of the more common consonants n, t, s, and l.
