Extension Activities: More Ways to Play and Learn:
Have kids count the cars. Help them identify the numerals and place them in numerical order.
Have kids select a car and name all the colors on it. Then ask them to build a "racing team" for that car by finding all the other cars with colors in common with it.
Encourage kids to set up a racecourse with a starting line, finish line, and obstacles. Then, have fun racing the cars! Optional: Have kids draw a driving course on extra-large construction paper or make one on the floor with blocks or masking tape.
